Molde
Qarabag will be aiming to build on a 2-0 win over Sabah Baku when they take on Molde in a highly-anticipated Europa League game. Qarabag are tough to beat at home and they are surely capable of matching Molde at their Azersun Arena. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but France forward Hamidoy Keyta could sneak into the starting XI after finding his goal-scoring touch.
The Norwegians, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Haugesund and Odd, but they face a tough task in their Europa League opener. As Qarabag are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the two sides are going to share the spoils in Thursday’s encounter. Defender Martin Linnes misses out with injury, but he should be the only absentee in the visiting team.

Magnus Wolff Eikrem is a Norwegian footballer who was born in Molde on August 8, 1990. As expected, he started his youth career at his hometown club Molde in 2002, but four years later Manchester United scouts brought him to England. Eikrem returned to Molde in 2011, scoring six goals in 68 league appearances for the Blues in the Eliteserien.
After his spells with Heerenveen, Cardiff City, Malmo, and Seattle Sounders, the Norway midfielder made yet another return to Molde in 2018. Eikrem has been playing for the Blues ever since, establishing himself as one of the team’s key players.
Speaking of his international career, he scored two goals in 12 appearances for the Norway U21 team, while making his debut with the senior team in a 1-1 draw with Denmark on January 15, 2012. He replaced Markus Henriksen after 75 minutes. He is the son of former Molde footballer Knut Hallvard Eikrem.

Over the years Qarabag have established themselves as one of the best teams in Azerbaijan. The club was founded in 1951 and they were playing under the name of Mehsul back then. Qarabag won their first trophy in the national championship in 1993, beating Khazar Sumgayit in the title game.
In the 2015/2016 season they won their fourth domestic trophy, with the team finishing the season 22 points clear of second-placed Zira. Qarabag participated in the 2016/2017 Champions League qualifiers, but they were more than unfortunate to suffer a loss to Viktoria Plzen in the two-legged tie. The Azerbaijan outfit were beaten by the Czechs on away goal rule and, as a result, they made it to the Europa League playoffs.
Thanks to a win over Goteborg in the double-header Qarabag made it to the knockout stages of the competition. The Horsemen play their home games at Azersun Arena and their home colours are black. Qarabag play their away games in white kits.
