Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Slavia Prague and Ajax square off against each other at Fortuna Arena in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Thursday’s program. The Red and Whites are eyeing their seventh consecutive win in all competitions and they will look to build on a thrilling 4-0 triumph over Bohemians. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Tomas Chory, who has found his goal-scoring touch of late, while the likes of Fila, Ogbu, Ogungbayi, Schranz, and Vorlicky miss out with injuries.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement of late, with the team crushing Besiktas 4-0 in their Europa League opener, while beating RKC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie round 7. Slavia Prague, though, are tough to beat at home and that is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw. Talented Ajax defender Jorrel Hato serves a one-game ban, while all Berghuis, Gaaei, and Mannsverk miss out with injuries.
