Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Buoyed by a 2-0 win over St. Pauli, Stuttgart will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Celta Vigo in their Europa League opener. Die Schwaben have been producing fine performances at home of late and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to win Thursday’s encounter. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Ermedin Demirovic, who scored the opener in the last league match, while both Justin Diehl and Deniz Undav are major doubts.
Os Celeste, on the other hand, have drawn each of their last five Primera Liga games and, no doubt, they should be happy with one point from the MHPArena as well. Celta Vigo, though, are not regarded as good travellers and that is the main reason why we are going to place our bets on the home side. Serbia left-back Mihailo is rated doubtful for the Galician outfit after picking up a knock in a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
