Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Chelsea and Chesterfield face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Stamford Bridge. The Blues showed character in a 2-2 draw with Liverpool, with the team coming from two goals behind to share the spoils with Jurgen Klopp’s troops. Romelu Lukaku should miss out through coach’s decision, while Ross Barkley, Hakim Ziyech, and Saul Niguez are pushing for a start. Both Ben Chilwell and Reece James are sidelined with injuries.
The Spireites, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Chelsea by beating Salford City on the road. The National League side face an uphill task in Saturday’s clash, and we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp in the FA Cup last 64. This will be the first meeting between the two sides since February 15, 1959 when Chelsea outplayed Chesterfield 3-0 in the FA Cup.
