Our prediction for this Finland Veikkausliiga match:
Bolt Arena will host Wednesday’s football game between HJK and Haka, the two old rivals. Helsinki have been showing signs of improvement of late, winning four of their last five league matches, with the team reviving their title hopes. Defender Miska Ylitolva is on international duty with Finland U21, while Greek midfielder Georgios Kanellopoulos serves a one-game ban due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Andy Smith’s troops, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Inter Turku. Haka, though, have been struggling in away encounters with the capital club, losing eight of their last nine meetings with HJK in Helsinki and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. Experienced Haka forward Kalle Multanen is pushing for a rare start following his fine performance in the last league match. In their last meeting in the Finnish capital, Helsinki defeated Haka 3-1.
