Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
Friday’s football game between Shamrock Rovers and UCD will bring down the curtain on day 20 of the new Ireland Premier League campaign. The Hoops aim to build on a 2-0 win over Dundalk, with the team eyeing their sixth home triumph of the process. Even though experienced midfielder Ronan Finn is banned for the match, home win should be considered UCD are seen as one of the main candidates for relegation. Richard Towell misses out through suspension as well, while all Trevor Clarke, Alan Mannus, and Dylan Watts are sidelined with injuries.
The visitors, on the other hand, head into the local derby following a 3-1 loss to St Patricks. UC Dublin do not seem to be competitive at this level and given their shaky defence, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. Talented forward Danu Kinsella Bishop is pushing for a start, while Jack Keaney misses out through suspension.
