Our prediction for this League 1 match:
AFC Wimbledon will be looking to put an end to their four-game losing run in all competitions when they face Rotherham United on Matchday 8. The Dons do not seem to be at their sharpest and given their defensive struggles, home win should not be considered. Adding to their woes, midfielder Marcus Browne is banned for Saturday’s clash following his sending-off in a 3-0 loss to Bolton as well as defender Joe Lewis.
The Millers, on the other hand, desperately need a win against Exeter at home and they managed to get one. Rotherham United, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling AFC Wimbledon’s party at The Cherry Red Records Stadium. All Hatton, Nombe, Agbaire, and Sherif are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the visiting team.
