Our prediction for this League 1 match:
High-flying Birmingham City will look to cement top position in the League One standings when they take on Huddersfield Town on Matchday 9. The Blues are on a six-game winning run and they must be high on confidence following a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Peterborough. Jay Stansfield should continue leading the line for the hosts despite failing to find the net in the last league match, while defensive duo Dion Sanderson – Ethan Laird should be recalled to the starting XI.
Meanwhile, the Terriers are on a three-game losing run in the English third tier. As Huddersfield have been struggling at the back of late, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the league leaders. Michal Helik remains in the recovery room, but there are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of the trip to Birmingham.
