Bristol Rovers will look to make amends for the FA Cup loss to Norwich City when they take on Blackpool in the League One round 29. The Pirates do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team losing three of their last four league matches and given their shaky defence, home win should not be considered. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but experienced John Marquis could sneak into the starting XI.
The Seasiders, on the other hand, aim to recover from the FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest. As Blackpool are on a four-game winless run on the road in all competitions, we do not believe that they are capable of collecting more than one point from Saturday’s encounter. Daniel Grimshaw limped off with injury in the midweek defeat, with Richard O’Donnell likely to step up.

Chris Maxwell is a Welsh goalkeeper who was born in St Asaph on July 30, 1990. Maxwell began his youth career at Penrhyn Bay (1998-2000) and in 2000 he moved to Wrexham. The 188-cm-tall shoot-stopper made his first-team debut for Wrexham at the age of 18 and he played 76 league games for the club from 2008 to 2012.
During the 2008/2009 season he spent six months on loan at Welsh club Connah’s Quay Nomads and in 2012 he joined Fleetwood Town. Chris Maxwell made 110 appearances in the league for the Trawlermen and on May 16, 2016 he signed a three-year deal with Championship side Preston North End. You should know that he managed to keep clean sheets in 38 appearances for the Lilywhites in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign.
Due to his dual citizenship, Maxwell is capable of representing both Wales and Scotland at senior level, but he played for the Dragons at youth level, being capped for the U21 team 16 times.

Established back on August 1, 1883, Bristol Rovers are one of the oldest clubs in the League One. Bristol Rovers were formed after a meeting at the Eastville Restaurant under the name of Black Arabs after the Arabs rugby team.
This name, though, lasted no more than one season as the club was renamed Eastville Rovers in 1884. Five years later the club’s name was officially changes to Bristol Rovers.
