Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Abbey Stadium will host Tuesday’s League One game between Cambridge United and Doncaster Rovers, the two teams who shared the spoils in the first half of the season. Cambridge United are on a three-match winning in all competitions, and it should come as no surprise that odds for home win have been dropping. All Greg Taylor, Shilow Tracey, and Lloyd Jones are out of contention with injuries, while Leon Davies is a major doubt.
The Donny, on the other hand, are running down a blind alley, with the team losing each of their last four league fixtures. Doncaster have been struggling at the back in 2022, and given Cambridge United’s fine form, we predict that the relegation-threatened visitors are going to return home empty-handed. All Fejiri Okenabirhie, Ben Close, Cameron John, John Bostock, and Tom Anderson should miss out with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Liam O’Neil):
Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.

Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Doncaster Rovers are an English football club that compete in the League One. Keepmoat Stadium is the club’s home ground. The venue was opened on August 3, 2007 and it can hold up to 15,231 spectators.
Doncaster Rovers footballers wear white shirts with red stripes and white shorts when playing on home soil, whereas the club’s away colours are dark blue and red. Speaking of the Rovers’ history, the club was established back in 1879 by Alber Jenkins, who worked as a fitter at Doncaster’s Great Northern Railway.
