Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Huddersfield will be aiming to strengthen their promotion push when they welcome Peterborough to the John Smith’s Stadium. The Terriers have emerged as one of the main candidates for automatic promotion thanks to their consistency and excellent home form, with their fans creating a fortress-like atmosphere. A further boost for Lee Grant’s men is the return of first-choice goalkeeper Owen Goodman, who is back from suspension and expected to slot straight into the starting XI.
Peterborough, on the other hand, are going through a rough patch. The Posh produced a poor defensive display in a 3-0 defeat to Exeter last weekend, exposing flaws that have crept into their game in recent weeks. Despite that setback, the visitors have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this clash, but his side will need to show significant improvement at both ends of the pitch if they are to avoid another disappointing outcome. Given Huddersfield’s strong home record and Peterborough’s struggles, there is a big value in betting on the Terriers.
