Oxford United will look to stay in the League One playoffs berth when they take on Portsmouth at Kassam Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Following back-to-back wins over Sheffield Wednesday and Gillingham, the Yellows shared the spoils with Wigan in their last league match, and, no doubt, they want to return to winning ways as soon as possible. Gorrin remains in the recovery room, while Daniel Agyei is a major doubt.
The Pompey, on the other hand, have slim chances of securing a top-six finish. Portsmouth failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Charlton on Monday, and given Oxford’s fine home record (9-4-2), we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Experienced midfielder Michael Jacobs is pushing for a start after finding the net in Portsmouth’s last league match.

James Henry was born in Reading on 10 June, 1989, but he grew up in Woodley. He began playing football at his home-town club Woodley Saints, but he made progress during his spell at Reading’s youth academy. Henry is a winger who is capable of playing as a centre midfielder as well, but he failed to score for Reading in 10 league appearances for the club.
After ending his loan spells with the likes of Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Norwich City and Millwall, he signed a permanent deal with the Lions on 28 July, 2010. Henry signed a three-year deal with Millwall and he made his home debut in a 4-0 win over Hull City.
It has to be noted that Henry played for both Scotland and England at youth level in the past, but he has yet to make his debut for the first team. Henry was born in England, but his parents are Scottish and, as a result, he is eligible to play for both England and Scotland.

During Milan Mandaric’s era at the club, Portsmouth played an important role in the Premier League, with the team finishing their debut season (2003/2004) in the 13th position in the standings. The club impressed in the 2008/2009 season, with Nwankwo Kanu’s goal helping them beat Cardiff City in the FA Cup final.
As a result, Portsmouth represented England in the Europa League, with the team progressing in the group stages of the competition thanks to a win over Vitoria Gimaraes in the final qualifying round. The current club was formed in 2013, but the original amateur club was founded back in 1883. Nowadays Portsmouth host their rivals at Fratton Park, with the venue holding up to 20,620 spectators.
