Gillingham
After suffering a 2-0 loss to Rotherham United in their opener, Plymouth will be looking to give fans some cheer when they welcome Gillingham at their Home Park on Matchday 2. The Pilgrims failed to impress in the opening match of the season, with the team having no more than seven goal attempts. Head coach Ryan Lowe should opt to make changes to the starting XI, with all Broom, Randell, and Shirley pushing for a start.
The Gills, on the other hand, kicked off the new League One campaign with a 1-1 draw with Lincoln, but they are surely capable of beating Plymouth, who do not seem to be at their sharpest at the start of the season. Despite failing to find the net in the draw with Lincoln, Vadaine Oliver should continue to lead the line for the visitors.
