Sunderland
After rolling over Man City U21 5-0 in the EFL Trophy, Rotherham United will be aiming to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Sunderland in the League One round 16. The Millers outplayed MK Dons 3-0 in their last league match, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. The Black Cats, on the other hand, did well to eliminated Queens Park Rangers in the EFL Cup last 16.
Sunderland are eager to return to winning ways in the League One as well, and given Rotherham’s attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. In their last meeting in the English third tier the two teams played out a 1-1 draw, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.

Born in Harlow, England on September 28, 1992, Adam Thompson is a defender who plays for Bury in League One. Thompson started his youth career at Watford and after making 14 appearances for the Hornets at senior level, he moved to Southend United, signing a permanent deal with the club in January, 2014.
It has to be noted that he played for the likes of Brentford, Wycombe Wanderers and Barnet on loan as well before joining the Shakers. Adam Thompson has a short loan spell at Bradford City in the 2017/2018 season, but he made no more than nine appearances for the Bantams. Despite being born in England, Adam Thompson decided to represent Northern Ireland in international matches.
He made his debut with the Northern Ireland national team on February 9, 2011, coming from the bench in a 3-0 loss to Scotland. His main position is centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine showings at right-back as well.

Sunderland are a professional football club that have been playing their home games at the Stadium of Light since 1997. The capacity of the stadium is 49,000, but before expansion the original ground capacity was 42,000. Red and White shirts are Sunderland’s trademark and the club’s fiercest rivals are Newcastle United. Sunderland won their first FA Cup trophy in 1937, with the team beating Preston North End 3-1 in the title game. The club was founded in 1879 as Sunderland and District Teachers A.F.C.
