Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Lamex Stadium will host Friday’s League One game between Stevenage and Bolton, the two promotion-chasing sides. The Boro are only one point behind the playoffs berth and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against the Hatters. Talented striker Jamie Reid should be recalled to the starting XI, while Jake Forster-Caskey will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. Bolton, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Derby County.
As the visitors are eager to move closer to the automatic promotion berth, we believe that both teams to score betting option should be considered. All Victor Adeboyejo, Dion Charles, Carlos Mendes Gomes, Dan N’Lundulu, and Nathan Baxter are out of contention with injuries. In the first half of the season Bolton defeated Stevenage 3-2, which goes in favour of our earlier prediction.
Highlighted Player (Jake Taylor):
Jake Taylor is a product of the Reading football academy who plays for Exeter City in the League Two. Taylor spent his youth career at Reading, and he continued wearing the blue and white shirt at senior level.
After scoring two goals in 31 appearances with the Royals in the league, the English footballer spent several seasons on loan at the likes of Aldershot Town, Exeter City, Cheltenham Town, Crawley Town, Leyton Orient, and Motherwell. In 2016 Jake Taylor returned to Exeter City, signing a permanent deal with the St James Park outfit.
Despite being born in Ascot, England, on December 1, 1991, Taylor represents Wales on the international stage. He has ten caps with the Wales U21 team, and he made his debut with the Dragons at the senior level in a 2-1 win over Cyprus on October 13, 2014. His primary position is central midfielder.
Highlighted Team (Bolton):
Bolton Wanderers were formed as Christ Church Football Club back in 1874 and three years later they adopted their current name. The Trotters currently compete in the Championship and they play their home games at Macron Stadium, which was opened in 1997.
Speaking of the club’s trophies, Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup on four occasions (1923, 1926, 1929 and 1958), but they have yet to win the Premier League title. The Trotters were producing splendid displays in the 2003/2004 Premier League campaign, with the team finishing the season in eighth position in the standings, which is regarded as the club’s best result in the English top flight.
Bolton did well to reach the UEFA Cup knockout stages in the 2007/2008 season; the English outfit eliminated Atletico Madrid in the two-legged tie, but Sporting Lisbon eventually proved to be a big catch for the Trotters.
Nigeria international Jay-Jay Okocha is one of the most notable footballers who played for Bolton and he scored 14 goals in 124 appearances in the league for the club. Bury are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
