All eyes will be on Edgeley Park when Stockport County and Mansfield Town lock horns in the League One round 25. The Hatters failed to win the previous three league matches, but they are still seen as favourites to beat the Yellows in front of home fans. Midfielder Jade Jay Mingi is a major doubt after limping off with injury in a 1-1 draw with Birmingham City, with Kyle Knoyle being ready to step up.
The Yellows, on the other hand, made a promising start to 2025, with the team beating Bolton 2-1 in front of home fans. Mansfield Town, though, have been having their ups and downs on the road of late and we do not believe that they are capable of collecting more than one point from the Edgeley Park clash. In their last encounter in the League One, the two sides played out a 1-1 draw. Will Evans is widely expected to return to Mansfield’s starting XI.
