The Latics aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Charlton Athletic, but they will have a big fish to fry in Saturday’s encounter. Wigan Athletic’s injury list remains pretty long, including the likes of Adams, Francois, Goodwin, Payne, Rankine, and Smith, to name just a few.
The Tykes, on the other hand, have suffered a dip in form, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last four league matches. As Barnsley have been struggling defensively in recent weeks, they are unlikely to spoil Wigan’s party at The Brick Community Stadium.
