Wycombe and Lincoln take on each other at Adams Park in what is expected to be a close League One game. Wycombe kicked off the new season with back-to-back wins over Accrington and Cheltenham, with the team sharing the spoils with Wigan at the DW Stadium on Tuesday evening. The Chairboys aim to return to winning ways, but Saturday’s game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team.
Head coach Gareth Ainsworth is likely to stick to the 4-4-2 formation, with McCleary and Vokes up front. Lincoln, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 home defeat to Bolton, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on Wycombe. Chris Maguire is rated doubtful, and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off. In their last meeting at Adams Park Wycombe defeated Lincoln 3-1.

Jason McCarthy is a product of the famous Southampton youth academy. McCarthy started his youth career in his hometown club back in 2002 and he made his senior debut with the Saints in the Premier League on December 26, 2014, coming as a substitute for Nathaniel Clyne in a 3-1 away victory at Crystal Palace.
After spending a couple of seasons on loan at Wycombe Wanderers and Walsall, the English defender signed a three-year deal with Barnsley in the summer of 2017 for an undisclosed fee. Jason McCarthy was struggling to secure a first-team football at the Oakwell stadium outfit and, as a result, he returned to Wycombe Wanderers on August 9, 2018, penning a three-year contract with the League One side.
His preferred foot is right, his main position centre-back, but he is used as a right-back as well. Jason McCarthy was born in Southampton on November 7, 1995.

Lincoln City are one of the oldest clubs competing in the League One as they were founded back in 1884. Lincoln City FC were established as an amateur association, but they turned professional in the 1891/1892 season.
Back then they played at John O’Gaunts stadium, but nowadays Sincil Bank is the club’s home ground. Sincil Bank was opened in 1895, holding up to 10,120 people.
