AFC Wimbledon play host to Colchester United to their Plough Lane in the League Two round 12. The Dons were on the verge of beating Bradford on the road, but substitute Vadaine Oliver eventually saved one point for the Bantams. Defender Alex Pearce, who limped off with injury in the 2-2 draw with Bradford, is unlikely to feature against Colchester, while Jack Currie has overcome his injury.
The U’s, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, with the team already suffering six defeats in the process, while recording only one win. Since the visitors have been struggling in front of goal of late, we do not believe that AFC Wimbledon ill have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. Colchester forward Freddie Sears should keep his place in the starting XI despite failing to convert a late penalty against the Dale.
