Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Crawley Town, AFC Wimbledon will look to stay in the playoffs berth when they take on Sutton on Tuesday afternoon. The Dons are eyeing their fourth consecutive win at home ground and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Defender Joe Lewis serves a one-game ban, but there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Sutton, on the other hand, have been struggling at the back of late, with the team conceding ten goals in total in back-to-back losses to Stockport County (0-8) and Mansfield Town (0-2). As a result, Matt Gray is no longer in charge of the team, with Jason Goodliffe taking over the reins as a caretaker manager. Given the current situation in Sutton’s dressing room, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. As for the away team, both O’Brien and Pereira are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.
