Crewe Alexandra and Salford City face each other at Alexandra Stadium in the opening match of round 36. The Railwaymen have drawn each of their last four league matches, with the team remaining in the middle of the table. Crewe, though, have little to play for in the remainder of the season, which is probably the main reason why home win should not be considered. To make things even worse for the home side, defender Rodney McDonald is banned for the match.

Since Salford City want this win more than Crewe Alexandra, we predict that the visitors are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s clash. Conor McAleny is a product of Everton youth academy, joining the club from Merseyside in 2003 at the age of 11. Conor McAleny played for the likes of Scunthorpe United, Brentford, Cardiff City, Charlton Athletic, Wigan Athletic and Oxford United before signing a deal with Fleetwood Town.
The right-footed striker spent the second half of the 2018/2019 season on loan at Kilmarnock, scoring 3 goals in 11 appearances for the club in the Scottish Premier League.

Founded back in 1877, Crewe Alexandra play their home games in red shirts and white shorts, while yellow is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The Railwaymen played their first game against North Staffs in 1877, with the two teams sharing the spoils (1-1) at Alexandra Recreation Ground.
