Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Buoyed by a 3-0 win over Morecambe, Mansfield Town will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Doncaster Rovers in the League Two round 3. The Yellows looked sharp in front of goal against the Shrimps and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play in the midweek clash. Callum MacDonald serves the last of his three-game ban, meaning that Jordan Bowery should keep his place in the starting XI. A man to watch in the away team will be Lucas Akins, who scored a brace in the last league match.
The Donny’s defence, on the other hand, seems to be pretty shaky and given their poor defensive display in a 4-0 loss to Newport County, away triumph should definitely be considered. Both Bailey and Maxwell are likely to drop to the bench following their under par performances against the Exiles, with Ironside and Anderson pushing for recalls to the starting line-up.
Highlighted Team (Mansfield):

The venue was built back in 1861 and renovated in 1999. Chesterfield and Notts County are regarded as the club’s fiercest rivals. Mansfield Town did well to win the Football League Trophy in 1986/1987 season, with the team beating Bristol City on penalties at Wembley Stadium.
