Priestfield Stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Gillingham and Forest Green, the two teams with completely different ambitions for the remainder of the season. The Gills are eyeing League One promotion and they must be brimming with confidence following three consecutive league wins. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team, while Zimbabwe forward Macauley Bonne is pushing for a rare start after scoring the winner as a substitute against Accrington.
The Green Army, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-0 loss to Harrogate. Troy Deeney was playing an important role in Quique Sanchez Flores’ team on their return to the English top flight and he bagged no fewer than 13 goals in the 2015/2016 season.
Deeney was born in Birmingham, West Midlands, on 29 June, 1988 and he has two children, Myles, a son, and a daughter Amelia. His brother Ellis is a football player as well, but he plays as a midfielder. The striker has also spent some time in prison, but has since seriously improved his behaviour.
