Sean Scannell has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. Scannell was named Republic of Ireland Young Player of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the Year.
His contract with Huddersfield Town expires on 30 June, 2019 and his highest market value was €1 million back on 8 January, 2009. Sean Scannell started his youth career in Addiscombe Corinthians, but he played for Crystal Palace youth teams as well.
