Port Vale
Blundell Park will host Saturday’s football match between Grimsby Town and Port Vale, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Grimsby Town suffered a 3-2 loss in a midweek clash, with Exeter ruining their survival hopes. Since the rock-bottom side head into the match with the lack of motivation, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Keep in mind that key midfielder Jay Matete is sidelined through suspension for the home team.
The Valiants, on the other hand, have been in a splendid form in the season finale, with the team winning eight of their last nine league fixtures. Since Port Vale aim to finish the season in great manner, we believe that away win should be considered. In the first half of the season the Valiants recorded a routine 3-0 win over the Mariners.

Sean Scannell is a winger who plays for Huddersfield Town. The Irish footballer is capable of playing up front as well and he began his senior career at Crystal Palace, before penning a three-year contract with Huddersfield Town.
The English player, who was born in Croydon on 17 September 1990, made 25 outings for Huddersfield in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign, scoring one goal for the club. Sean Scannell has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. Scannell was named Republic of Ireland Young Player of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the Year.
His contract with Huddersfield Town expires on 30 June, 2019 and his highest market value was €1 million back on 8 January, 2009. Sean Scannell started his youth career in Addiscombe Corinthians, but he played for Crystal Palace youth teams as well.

Nicknamed the Valiants, Port Vale are a professional club that compete in the League Two. Port Vale welcome their rivals at Vale Park, and they wear white and black kit when playing in front of home fans. Yellow, on the other hand, is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The Valiants’ home ground, which was built in 1950, can hold up to 49,768 people. Championship side Stoke City are seen as one of the club’s fiercest rivals, but their rivalry is pretty healthy. The two teams first met on December 2, 1882, with the Potters emerging triumphant (1-0).
The Valiants maintain a rivalry with fellow League 2 club Crewe Alexandra as well. Speaking of the club’s titles, it has to be noted that Port Vale have won Football League Trophy on two occasions (1993, 2001). A 9-1 win over Chesterfield from September 24, 1932 is the club’s biggest triumph.
