Buoyed by the FA Cup triumph over Lincoln, Hartlepool will look to put an end to their five-game losing run in the League Two when they take on Rochdale on Matchday 20. The Pools regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, but they still face a difficult task in the midweek clash. Coaching duo Dave Challinor – Antony Sweeney should stick to the 5-3-2 formation, with Molyneux and Cullen up front.
The Dale, on the other hand, have drawn each of their last four league fixtures. Rochdale are likely to adopt yet another cautious approach, and, taking everything into account, we believe that punters from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on draw. Experienced midfielder Stephen Dooley is pushing for a start after coming as a substitute in the FA Cup loss to Plymouth at the weekend.

Ryan McLaughlin is a Northern Ireland international who plays for Rochdale in the League One as a right-back. McLaughlin started his youth career at Glenavon back in 2009 and two years later he was spotted by Liverpool scouts, who persuaded him to join the Reds youth academy.
However, instead of playing for Liverpool at senior level, the Northern Ireland defender spent two seasons on loan at Barnsley and Aberdeen before moving to Oldham Athletic. After scoring three goals in 52 league appearances for the club, Ryan McLaughlin joined Rochdale in 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
McLaughlin made his League One debut with the Dale on January 26, 2019 in a 2-1 loss at Barnsley. Speaking of his international career, the pacey right-back made his Northern Ireland debut on May 31, 2014 in a friendly against Uruguay. It has to be noted that the Rochdale defender can be used as both left-back and right midfielder as well.

Nicknamed the Dale, Rochdale are a professional English club that compete in the League One (English third tier). Rochdale were founded back in 1907, after World War I, with the team beating Accrington Stanley 6-3 in their first league game 14 years later.
