Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Mansfield Town and Bradford City square off against each other at Field Mill in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. The Yellows have been impressive at home ground at the start of the season, with the team beating both Bristol Rovers and Newport, and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to win Saturday’s clash. Head coach Nigel Clough is likely to stick to the 4-4-2 formation, with Oates and Johnson up front.
The Bantams, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Oldham (2-1) and Stevenage (4-1). Bradford City are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels, we are tempted to put our money on draw this time out. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be experienced attacker Andy Cook, who scored a hat-trick in the triumph over Stevenage.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Bowery):
Born in Nottingham, England, on July 2, 1991, Jordan Bowery is a professional footballer who plays for Mansfield Town. Bowery played for a number of English clubs, but we should mentioned the notable ones only.
The Mansfield No. 9 was a part of the likes of Aston Villa, Bradford City, Rotherham United, and Crewe Alexandra in the past. Jordan Bowery joined the Yellows in the summer of 2020, signing for the club on a free transfer. He made his Mansfield Town debut in the League two in a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers on September 12, 2020.
Bowery scored his first goal for the Yellows in a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on September 19, 2020. Centre-forward is the position that suits him the most, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. His preferred foot is right. Jordan Bowery has never played for the England national team.
