Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Mansfield and Stevenage go head to head at One Call Stadium in what is expected to be an exciting League Two encounter. The Yellows recorded a very important win over Newport on Tuesday to stay in the playoffs race, and they must be high on confidence ahead of Saturday’s encounter. James Gale is pushing for a victory after sealing the victory against Newport, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Boro, on the other hand, defeated Doncaster thanks to Jordan Roberts’ goal. The 29-year-old has found his goal-scoring touch of late, meaning that the opposition back-line should have him at bay. Since Stevenage are eager to stay in the automatic promotion berth, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Steve Evans is likely to field the same starting XI that defeated the Donny at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Bowery):
Born in Nottingham, England, on July 2, 1991, Jordan Bowery is a professional footballer who plays for Mansfield Town. Bowery played for a number of English clubs, but we should mentioned the notable ones only.
The Mansfield No. 9 was a part of the likes of Aston Villa, Bradford City, Rotherham United, and Crewe Alexandra in the past. Jordan Bowery joined the Yellows in the summer of 2020, signing for the club on a free transfer. He made his Mansfield Town debut in the League two in a goalless draw with Tranmere Rovers on September 12, 2020.
Bowery scored his first goal for the Yellows in a 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on September 19, 2020. Centre-forward is the position that suits him the most, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. His preferred foot is right. Jordan Bowery has never played for the England national team.
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
