Stevenage will be looking to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crawley Town when they take on Walsall in the League Two round 30. The Boro have been playing some low-scoring goals of late, and we are positive that they will rely on their solid defence in Saturday’s showdown. Elliot Osborne could be recalled to the starting XI after scoring the winner in the midweek clash. The Saddlers, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Cheltenham Town.
Walsall are on an eight-game winless run in the League Two, and given Stevenage’s display in the triumph over the Red Devils, we believe that home win should be considered. After ending his loan spells with Livingston and St. Mirren, the Scottish footballer joined Swindon Town in 2009 where he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. After scoring five goals in 80 appearances for the club, Scott Cuthbert moved to Leyton Orient before the start of the 2011/12 season.
After almost a five-year spell with the Brisbane Road outfit, the right-footed defender joined Stevenage in the summer of 2018, and he has been playing for the Posh ever since. He made his Stevenage debut in a 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers in the 2018/19 season opener. At the end of the campaign the Scottish footballer was named the club’s Player of the Year.
