Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Sutton and MK Dons go head to head at Gander Green Lane in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. Sutton do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team losing seven of the eight league matches this term and given their shaky defence, we do not believe that home win should be considered. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team ahead of Saturday’s clash.
The Dons, on the other hand, are eager to put an end to their three-match winless run in the League Two and it seems as if they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. The visitors have a chance to climb to the playoffs berth and we predict that they will take advantage of the current atmosphere in Sutton’s dressing room. A man to watch in the visiting team will be Mohamed Eisa, who has already netted five goals this season.
Highlighted Player (Mo Eisa):
Born on the 12th of July, 1994, in Khartoum, Sudan, Mo Eisa is a Sudanese professional footballer who plays for Peterborough United in the third tier of English Football. The 6ft tall striker/ winger is a Pro Touch Soccer Academy product.
The initial years of his career were spent playing non-league football with teams like Dartford, Leatherhead, and Greenwich Borough, the latter for whom he scored over 50 goals in 100 appearances. On the 7th of July, 2017, Eisa signed a contract with League Two outfit Cheltenham Town and made his league debut on the 5th of August, 2017.
A prolific season with the Robins earned him the Supporters' Player Of The Year and the Players' Player Of The Year awards at the end of the season. For the 18/19 season, the 25-year-old joined Championship side Bristol for a brief stint before returning to League One with Peterborough for the following season on a four-year contract.
Highlighted Team (MK Dons):
Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Dons are a League One club that welcome their rivals at Stadium MK. The venue was opened in 2007 and can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Milton Keynes Dons play their home games in white shirts and white shorts, whilst their away kit is red.
The Dons are one of the youngest clubs in England as they were founded in 2004, but they are well known for youth development. English attacker is the club’s all-time top goal-scorer, netting 62 goals in 165 appearances for MK Dons. Dele Alli, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, is the most famous footballer to have played for the Milton Keynes Dons, netting 18 goals in 62 appearances for the club in the league.
Speaking of notable coaches, it has to be noted that former Liverpool superstar Robbie Fowler and ex German international Dietmar Hamman were in charge of the club.
