Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Le Havre, Angers will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Olympique Lyon in the Ligue 1 round 14. Les Scoistes are eager to escape the danger zone, but they will have a mountain to climb in Saturday’s encounter. Algeria international Himad Abdelli is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the last league match, while the likes of Cedric Hountondji, Zinedine Ferhat, Sidiki Cherif, and Justin-Noel Kalumba remain in the recovery room.
Les Gones, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 4-1 win over Nice. As key attacker Alexandre Lacazette has found his goal-scoring touch, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Lyon, who are eyeing a spot in the Champions League. Midfielder Mahamadou Diawara remains on the sidelines with injury for the away team.
