Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
After failing to spoil PSG’s party at Parc des Princes, Angers will look to give fans some cheer when they face Rennes on Matchday 3. Les Scoistes defended well against the reigning champions and their fine display in Paris must be fuelling fans with optimism ahead of upcoming challenges. The good news for the hosts is that midfielder Louis Mouton is back after serving his one-game ban against PSG.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, suffered a heavy 4-0 loss at Lorient, but it has to be noted that duo Camara – Wooh was sent off in the sixth and eleventh minute respectively. As they will be sorely missed once again, we do not believe that Rennes are capable of grabbing more than one point from Sunday’s encounter. Both Ibrahim Salah and Mahamadou Nagida are in line for recalls to the starting XI.
