Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Pierre-Mauroy will be the centre of attention when Lille and Nice lock horns in a highly-anticipated Ligue 1 game on the last day of the season. Les Dogues quickly bounced back from a 4-3 loss to Lyon, with the team beating Nantes on the road and they must be high on confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash. A man to watch in the home team will be Canada forward Jonathan David, who scored a brace at the weekend, while all Lucas Chevalier, Yusuf Yazici, Adam Ounas, and Samuel Umtiti remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Les Aiglons, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Strasbourg and Le Havre. Nice have already booked their spot in the Europa League and seeing that Lille are eyeing a top-three finish, home win should be considered. Sofiane Diop remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.
