Lens
All eyes will be on Stade Olympique Lyonnais when Lyon and Lens lock horns in an eagerly-awaited Ligue 1 game. Les Gones proved their worth in a 4-1 win over Rennes and a triumph over Lens could see them climb to the Champions League berth. With no fresh injury worries to report, Paulo Fonseca is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Les Rouges et Noirs at the weekend.
Les Sang et Or, on the other hand, missed out on a spot in European competitions and given their poor defensive display in a 4-0 loss to Auxerre, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. To make things even worse for the away team, forward Florian Sotoca misses out through suspension. Defender Facundo Medina is back to contention after serving his one-game ban. Both Jhoanner Chavez and Remy Lascary miss out with injuries for the visiting side.

Alexandre Lacazette is a hometown boy of Lyon, a powerful striker who went through the youth ranks of the French side to become one of the most important players for Les Gones. The 25-year-old forward was also a member of all France national team selections becoming a European champion at the age of 19 by scoring the winner in the final against Spain.
This goal gave him a reputation of a big game player, one he went on to uphold on various occasions at his club. Lacazette is a hard working forward an accomplished finisher of the ball able to score from different positions. The most prolific striker in his side and among the top ones in the Ligue 1, Alexandre Lacazette scored more than 20 league goals last two seasons on a trot.
Constantly linked with a move away from Lyon, Alexandre Lacazette refuses to speak about anything other than his football and is leaving all the talk to the football pitch.

Based in the Pas-De-Calais department, Lens is a French club that plays home games at Stade Bollaert-Delelis. The Sang et Or are well known for their red shirts with yellow stripes, while black is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
The club was founded back in 1906 and the Sang et Or originally played in green and black shirts. Speaking of their home ground, Stade Bollaert-Delelis can hold up to 38,058 spectators. The venue was opened back in 1933, and renovated during the 2014/15 season. Lens did well to win the Ligue 1 trophy in the 1997/98 season, with the team finishing the process level on points with second-place Metz.
As a result, the Sang et Or represented France in the Champions League group stages the following season. The club’s biggest European success came in the 1999/00 season when they made it to the UEFA Cup semis. Lens have won two Coupe de la Ligue trophies as well.
