Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Allianz Riviera will host Saturday’s Ligue 1 game between Nice and Nantes, the two teams with entirely different ambitions for the 2025/2026 season. Les Aiglons are a real force to be reckoned with at home and they will surely give 100% to make amends for a 3-1 loss at Le Havre. Defender Jonathan Clauss is pushing for a start, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Les Canaris, on the other hand, have been involved in some low-scoring games of late and we predict that they will rely on their solid defence in Saturday’s clash. Given their six-game unbeaten run against Nice in Ligue 1, we predict that the visitors are going to grab something from the match. Luis Castro is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Auxerre before the international break as the 45-year-old tactician has no fresh injury concerns.
