After holding Olympique Marseille to a 2-2 draw at Stade Velodrome, Reims will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Rennes on Matchday 3. Les Rouges et Blancs have yet to record a win in the new Ligue 1 season, but it seems as if their performances are much better than the results. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but all Teddy Teuma, Abdoul Kone, and Mohammed Daramy remain in the recovery room.
Midfielder Amadou Kone is banned for the match. Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, struggled defensively in a 3-1 loss to Strasbourg. As both Rennes and Reims are likely to go for a win in Sunday’s clash, we are tempted to bet on both teams to score. Even though Julian Stephan has a full squad to choose from, Arnaud Kalimuendo should sneak into the starting XI.
