Lorient
Rennes and Lorient take on each other at Roazhon Park in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Wednesday’s program. Rennes aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Lille, and we are positive that they will go for a win in the midweek clash. Les Rouges et Noirs are after their sixth home win of the season, but les Merlus should not be written off just yet. Both Niang and Rutter remain quarantined, while Guirassy and Tait are out of contention with injuries.
As for Lorient, they did remarkably well to beat star-studded PSG in their last league fixture, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Les Merlus are eager to escape the relegation zone, and given their attacking performance in the triumph over PSG, over 2.5 goals betting option should be considered. Saunier, Fontaine, Diarra, and Boisgard are all out of contention with injuries, while both Le Goff and Nardi have been tested positive for coronavirus.

Born in Longjumeau, France on February 2, 1993, Flavien Tait is a French footballer who plays for Angers as a midfielder. Tait began his youth career at Rodez and in 2010 he moved to Chateauroux. After spending first years of his senior career at Chateauroux, the 175-cm tall footballer joined Angers in 2016 and he has been playing for les Scoistes ever since.
Flavien Tait impressed in the 2017/2018 Ligue 1 campaign and it has to be noted that he scored 4 goals in 34 appearances for Angers in the process. His main position is winger, but he is often used as an attacking midfielder. Flavien Tait’s preferred foot is right and he wears No. 20 jersey at Angers.
His contract with les Scoistes should expire on June 30, 2020. It has to be noted that his market value was €4.5 million on June 4, 2018.Flavien Tait has yet to make his France debut.

Founded back in 1926, Lorient is a French football club that competes in Ligue 1. Les Merlus have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but they did well to go all the way in the Coupe de France in the 2001/02 season. In the title game, Lorient defeated Bastia thanks to Jean-Claude Darcheville’s goal.
The same season les Merlus made it to the Coupe de la Ligue final, but Bordeaux proved to be a big catch (0-3) for them in the title game. Lorient welcome their rivals at Stade du Moustoir, the stadium which can hold up to 16,392 spectators. The colour of the team’s home shirt is orange with a little black on it, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey.
