Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
All eyes will be on Roazhon Park when Rennes and Monaco go head to head in the Ligue 1 round 7. Les Rouges et Noirs failed to spoil PSG’s party at Parc des Princes, losing 3-1 in the “City of Lights”, but their display against the title holders was anything but poor. Forward Jota remains on the sidelines with a muscle problem, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Les Rouges et Blancs, on the other hand, head into the match following a 2-2 draw with Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League round 2. As Monaco have been impressive up front of late, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. In their last meeting at the venue Monaco defeated Rennes 2-1, which is yet another reason why this betting option should be considered. Midfielder Edan Diop continues to miss out with injury for the away team, while forward Folarin Balogun returns to the starting XI.
