Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Struggling Rennes will try to put an end to their four-game losing run in Ligue 1 when they face Strasbourg on Matchday 20. Les Rouges et Noirs are surprisingly sitting in the relegation zone, but a win over Le Racing could see them move away from the bottom three. Algeria forward Amine Gouiri is in line for a recall after scoring as a substitute in a 3-2 loss to Monaco, while defender Lorenz Assignon is back from suspension.
Strasbourg, on the other hand, have been producing fine display in 2025, with the team climbing to the middle of the table. Rennes, though, want this win more than Strasbourg and we predict that the relegation-threatened hosts are going pick up vital three points from Sunday’s showdown. Eduard Sobol returns from suspension, but all Thomas Delaine, Oscar Perea, and Dion Sahi should miss out with injuries for the away team.
