Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Geoffroy-Guichard will host Friday’s football game between St Etienne and Angers, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table ahead of Matchday 11. Les Verts are surprisingly stuck at the bottom, with the team collecting only four points in total from possible 30. The rock-bottom side will give 100% to record their first win of the process, and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field.
Zaydou Youssouf is banned for the match, while all Gabriel Silva, Yvann Macon, and Alpha Sissoko are all out of contention through injuries. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Wahbi Khazri, who scored a consolation goal in a heavy 5-1 loss at Strasbourg. Les Scoistes, on the other hand, failed to spoil PSG’s party at Parc des Princes. Even though Angers are enjoying a successful season, home win should be considered as the hosts want this triumph more than the visitors. Both Abdoulaye Bamba and Zinedine Ould Khaled are sidelined with injuries.
