Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade de la Meinau will host Sunday’s Ligue 1 game between Strasbourg and Rennes, the two teams who defeated Nantes and Marseille respectively before the international break. Le Racing are only four points clear of the relegation zone, meaning that this match is of big importance for the home side. Both Junior Mwanga and Ibrahima Sissoko are back from suspension, while the likes of Ismael Doukoure, Angelo Gabriel, Abakar Sylla, Moise Sahi Dion, and Lebo Mothiba are sidelined with injuries.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, are only four points behind the Champions League berth. As Rennes will go for a win in Sunday’s showdown as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. As for the visiting side, both Ludovic Blas and Adrien Truffert are banned for the match, while the likes of Arthur Theate, Enzo Le Fee, and Fabian Rieder miss out with injuries.
