Our prediction for this MLS match:
After suffering back-to-back defeats to Minnesota United and Portland Timbers, Houston will be looking to give fans something to cheer about when they take on Austin on Sunday. However, the hosts head into the match with a severely-weakened squad as all Carrasaquill, Ceren, Figueroa, Garcia, and Lessiter were on international duty with their respective national teams. To make things even worse for the Orange Crush, both Baird and Lemoine are sidelined with injuries.
The newcomers, on the other hand, have to deal with a couple of injuries as well, with Hoesen, Segura, Sweat, and Schoenfeld remaining in the recovery room. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards at BBVA Compass Stadium, and we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw. In their first and only previous meeting in the Major League Soccer Austin defeated Houston Dynamo 3-2.
