Houston Dynamo welcome Colorado Rapids to their BBVA Compass Stadium in what should be one of the most exciting games of Sunday’s program in MLS. Houston Dynamo continue with their old habit of being tough to beat at home, with the team struggling on the travels. Since the Orange Crush are undefeated in the previous seven home fixtures, we are positive that they will grab something from the match. Both Bartlow and Lemoine remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Colorado Rapids, on the other hand, have been impressive at the back of late, with the team eyeing their third consecutive clean sheet. Born in Sabanalarga, Colombia on July 15, 1995, Mauro Manotas is a 178-cm tall attacker who plays for Houston Dynamo in MLS. Manotas is a product of the Uniautonoma football school, and he made 25 appearances for the club at senior level.
He made his Uniautonoma debut in a 3-2 win over Valledupar FC on May 29, 2013. Manotas scored his first goal for the club on August 13, 2014 in a Copa Colombia loss to Valledupar. In 2015 he decided to take a step forward in his career, with the Colombia international joining the Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo.
Mauro Manotas made his MLS debut in a 2-0 loss to Dallas on June 27, 2015, while scoring his first goal in the league in a 2-2 draw with Minnesota United on April 16, 2017. Manotas has yet to receive a call-up for the Colombia national football team, but he has three caps with the U20 team. He scored his first international goal in a 2-1 loss to Brazil on January 23, 2015.

Colorado Rapids is a Major League Soccer club and they compete in the USA professional soccer league as a member of the Western Conference. Colorado began their play in MLS back in 1996 and 14 years later they managed to win the MLS Cup trophy. The Rapids recorded a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the final of the tournament, with George John scoring the winner for Gary Smith’s team in the extra time. Colorado made it to the MLS Cup final in 1997 as well, but D.C. United proved to be a big catch for the club in the title game.
The Rapids play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the venue has been Colorado’s home ground since 2007. It has to be noted that the likes of Tim Howard, Carlos Valderama, Claudio Lopez and Jermaine Jones were all part of the club in the past.
