Our prediction for this MLS match:
Following a morale-boosting 2-0 win over New York Red Bulls, Inter Miami will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they welcome Portland Timbers to their DRV PNK Stadium. Inter Miami regained a much-needed confidence at the weekend, with both Lassiter and Taylor scoring for Phil Neville’s team. Veteran striker Gonzalo Higuain has lost his place in the starting XI, while all Nick Marsman, Brek Shea, and Ian Fray remain in the recovery room.
The Timbers, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to San Jose Earthquakes and Philadelphia Union. Portland are on a four-game winless run on the road, which is probably the main reason why punters from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on the home side. All George Fochive, Diego Gutierrez, Hunter Sulte, and Felipe Mora are out of contention with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Joevin Jones):
