Monday’s football game at Banc of California Stadium pits together Los Angeles FC and Real Salt Lake, the two teams who are eyeing a place in the Western Conference playoffs. Los Angeles aim to build on a thrilling 4-0 win over Sporting Kansas City where Cristian Arango extended his goal-scoring run. Carlos Vela was not sorely missed in the last league match, and that is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts.
The Royals, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and, taking everything into account, they are unlikely to spoil Los Angeles FC’s party at Banc of California Stadium.
