Los Angeles are vying for a place in the playoffs, while Seattle aim to cement top position in the Western Conference. Considering that key attacker Carlos Vela returns to the starting XI, we believe that home win should be considered.
The likes of Duenas, Gaines, Opoku, Quezada, and Segura remain in the recovery room. The Sounders failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City, and seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we predict that Brian Schmetzer’s troops are going to return home empty-handed. Australia international Smith is sidelined through illness, while the likes of Ruidiaz, Morris, Lodeiro, and Delem are out of contention with injuries.
