Columbus Crew
Gillette Stadium will host Sunday’s Major League Soccer game between New England Revolution and Columbus Crew. The Revs aim to build on back-to-back wins over Philadelphia Union and New York City, and the bookies see them as hot favourites to win the match. Canada international Tajon Buchanan is pushing for a start after finding the net against the Blue Pigeons, while both Bunbury and Kizza should be deployed up front in the 4-4-2 formation.
The Crew, on the other hand, are a team with two faces. Caleb Porter’s troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they are on a five-game losing run on the road. Given New England’s fine form, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Experienced midfielder Santos has joined the likes of Artur, Kitchen, Molino, and Morris in the treatment room.

Antonio Delamea Mlinar is a Slovenian footballer who plays for New England Revolution in MLS. Milnar was born in Celje, Slovenia on 10 June, 1991 and his main position is centre back. The New England Revolution defender played for the likes of Celje, Sampion, Aluminij and Interblock during his youth career and he signed his first professional contract with Interblock senior team.
Mlinar scored one goal in 23 league appearances for “the Gamblers” from 2008 to 2011 and in 2011 he joined Slovenian giants Olimpija Ljubljana. He played an important role in the capital club for seven years, but in 2017 he decided to take a step forward in his career.
Mlinar signed a deal with New England Revolution in January, 2017 and he has been playing for the Revs ever since. He made his debut for the Slovenia national team against Poland in November, 2016, replacing Miral Samardzic in the second half of the match.

Columbus Crew are an American soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Black & Gold participate in the Eastern Conference and in 2008 they won both the conference and the MLS CUP final. Columbus Crew defeated New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup final, with the likes of Moreno, Marshall and Hejduk scoring for the Black & Gold in the title game.
The club welcome their rivals at Mapfre Stadium, the venue which was opened on May, 15 1999. The current capacity of the stadium is 19.968 and it has to be noted that Mapfre Stadium is the first soccer-specific venue ever built for a MLS club.
A number of high-profile players were part of Columbus Crew in the past, but Guillermo Barros Schelotto is the most famous footballer that wore the black and yellow shirt. Schelotto played for Columbus Crew from 2007 to 2010 and during his spell with the Mapfre Stadium outfit the Black & Gold won the aforementioned MLS Cup.
