Our prediction for this MLS match:
New England Revolution will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Cincinnati at their Gillette Stadium on Sunday morning. The Revs have found their best form of late, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. Even though Iceland midfielder Arnor Traustason misses the match through suspension, we believe that home win should be considered as New England look sharp in front of goal.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, have been struggling up front in recent weeks. Since the visitors scored only one goal in total in the previous five league fixtures, we are tempted to put our money on the in-form Revs. It has to be noted that all Bailey, Harris, and van der Werff are out of contention through injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Antonio Delamea Mlinar):
Antonio Delamea Mlinar is a Slovenian footballer who plays for New England Revolution in MLS. Milnar was born in Celje, Slovenia on 10 June, 1991 and his main position is centre back. The New England Revolution defender played for the likes of Celje, Sampion, Aluminij and Interblock during his youth career and he signed his first professional contract with Interblock senior team.
Mlinar scored one goal in 23 league appearances for “the Gamblers” from 2008 to 2011 and in 2011 he joined Slovenian giants Olimpija Ljubljana. He played an important role in the capital club for seven years, but in 2017 he decided to take a step forward in his career.
Mlinar signed a deal with New England Revolution in January, 2017 and he has been playing for the Revs ever since. He made his debut for the Slovenia national team against Poland in November, 2016, replacing Miral Samardzic in the second half of the match.
Highlighted Team (FC Cincinnati):
FC Cincinnati will make their MLS debut in the 2019 season. Based in Ohio, the Orange and Blue are a team who is expected to play their home games at West End Stadium. However, seeing that the West End Stadium is still under construction, FC Cincinnati will welcome their rivals at Nippert Stadium at the start of the season.
The team’s home colors are orange and blue, whilst they wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. Justin Hoyte, who used to play for the likes of Arsenal and Middlesbrough in the Premier League is considered one of the team’s most famous footballers.
The Orange and Blue will make their MLS debut against Seattle Sounders, whilst they will play their first ever home game in the league against Portland Timbers. It has to be noted that FC Cincinnati has five supporters groups: Die Innestadt, The Legion, The Pride, Queen City and The Briogaid.
