Buoyed by a thrilling 6-0 win over DC United, New York City will be looking to cement their spot in top seven when they take on Chicago Fire on Thursday morning. The Blue Pigeons did well to put an end to their six-game winless run, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. New York City have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at Chicago Fire, and we predict that they will prove their worth on the field.
Sweden international Tinnerholm should be the only absentee in the home team. Despite recording back-to-back wins over Cincinnati (4-3) and Real Salt Lake (1-0), Chicago missed out on a place in the playoffs. Considering that the visitors have little to play for in the midweek clash, we are tempted to put our money on New York City. Both Calvo and Teran remain on the sidelines with injuries.
