Our prediction for this MLS match:
Philadelphia Union play host to Cincinnati at their Subaru Park in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Sunday’s program. The U’s are seen as one of the main favourites to win Eastern Conference, and they are surely capable of beating Cincinnati in front of home fans. You should bear in mind that Philadelphia are undefeated at home ground in the 2022 MLS campaign. The good news for the hosts is that Argentina forward Julian Carranza is back from suspension.
The Orange and Blue, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both New England Revolution and Montreal in the previous two league fixtures. Given their shaky defence, we do not believe that Cincinnati are capable of spoiling Philadelphia’s party at Subaru Park. All Calvin Harris, Alex Kann, and Ronald Matarrita should miss out with injuries for the away side.
Highlighted Player (Andre Blake):
Andre Blake is a Jamaican goalkeeper who plays for MLS club Philadelphia Union. Blake was born in May Pen, Jamaica, on November 21, 1990, but he went to the UConn college in United States of America. The 193-cm-tall shoot-stopper spent three years playing college football and in 2014 he signed a professional contract with Philadelphia Union.
Andre Blake made his debut for the U in July 2014 in a friendly game against Crystal Palace and he played his first MLS match against Montreal Impact. Speaking of his international career, the goalkeeper made his Jamaica debut on March 2, 2014 in a 2-0 victory over Barbados. Later that year Andre Blake won the Caribbean Cup with the Reggae Boyz as they defeated Trinidad and Tobago on penalties in the title game.
Over the years Blake has established himself as a first-team regular and, no doubt, there is a bright future ahead of him. The Philadelphia Union shoot-stopper wears the number 18 on his shirt.
Highlighted Team (FC Cincinnati):
FC Cincinnati will make their MLS debut in the 2019 season. Based in Ohio, the Orange and Blue are a team who is expected to play their home games at West End Stadium. However, seeing that the West End Stadium is still under construction, FC Cincinnati will welcome their rivals at Nippert Stadium at the start of the season.
The team’s home colors are orange and blue, whilst they wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. Justin Hoyte, who used to play for the likes of Arsenal and Middlesbrough in the Premier League is considered one of the team’s most famous footballers.
The Orange and Blue will make their MLS debut against Seattle Sounders, whilst they will play their first ever home game in the league against Portland Timbers. It has to be noted that FC Cincinnati has five supporters groups: Die Innestadt, The Legion, The Pride, Queen City and The Briogaid.
